Terms & Conditions
Please read before purchasing a kit

When purchasing a kit it is important you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

It is important to understand there could be times where the final outcome of works may not turn out entirely as envisaged. This is part of the learning experience especially for a beginner and especially with a non-contact class environment where the learning is provided online or by distance. This is also the nature of working with natural raw materials and heat work. Every effort is made to reduce these risks and all work is handled appropriately and with extreme care.

You are welcome to make anything you like using the portion of clay provided in your kit.

Please follow instructions provided and do not mix your clay with any other materials unless directed to by Melanie Hardy. If your work has been mixed with other materials it could cause major damage to the kiln, burn off hazardous gases and may damage other students work. In this case your work will not be accepted for kiln firing.

Safety Disclaimer: By payment of a kit, you are acknowledging that you are responsible for your own safety when picking up and dropping off ceramics to my studio and when using the kit in your own home therefore you will not hold Melanie Hardy accountable for any negligence.

You are acknowledging that if there is any damage to a ceramic object during the kiln firing stage that this is deemed part of the craft, therefore Melanie Hardy, is not responsible for these losses. Should accidental damage be made to your work by Melanie Hardy, then a refund or replacement will be provided by the customers choosing.

Your details will not be used for any other purpose other than to correspond regarding your ceramic kit, classes & workshops.
